Computer network administration

We can do: Computer network setup and administration (Microsoft platforms running Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol or NetBios Extended User Interface)

What does that mean?

Basically we can help you choose, and then set up the computers, printers, scanners etc. that you need in your office; Then we can install or provide assistance with the infrastructure that makes your computers able to talk to each other. This is the stuff that allows your employees and management to be able to share things like printers, scanners, Internet connections, files and software applications (commonly called apps). Why buy two or more printers when your whole office can use a single one? That's the kind of thing we can make happen.

The other thing we can help with is data backups. Many people view this topic as insignificant or extraneous to their business, but imagine this scenario:

You pay an employee $55,000 a year to sit at a computer and do data entry or create files. One day, a year or so after you hire her, her computer's hard drive craps out. Not only have you lost the value of the drive, but you have also lost the value you received over the last year from paying her $55,000 salary. This can happen through hardware failure, if your office has a fire, is broken into and equipment is stolen, or even from a simple virus or ransomware attack.

MLBS can help your business computer networks run more smoothly and att he same time offer some protection against the unexpected

Internal company website design and maintenance.

Private/staff information websites (i.e. put your employee schedules or info sheets online behind a password-protected wall)

Internal company websites are for stuff that you only want yourself and/or your managers and staff to be able to see.
Example: Do you have a paper employee work schedule tacked to a corkboard somewhere in your office?
Imagine if that same schedule could be posted so that all your employees could instantly look at it on their cell phones whenever they needed to from wherever they happen to be.
In addition, you could make a change to that schedule and everyone would instantly have the latest version.

Maybe you could put your employee manuals on there, company recipes for your restaurant staff to refer to, internal policy, you name it.

We can do the DNS registration and build and maintain an internal website for you.

Can we build a website for the public to showcase your business? Sure, we could, but there are specialized web developers who could make you a fancier one. For a flashy, public website to sell your business to customers, use a web developer. For a practical, internal company site for your managers and employee's eyes, MLBS can probably handle your needs. If we can't we will tell you.
